Abstract
The thin layer sectioning technique has been used to measure the self-diffusion and solute diffusion coefficients of lanthanum, holmium and indium in body-centred cubic praseodymium. The diffusivities can be expressed as: The relatively low activation energy and high self-diffusion coefficients in praseodymium were interpreted as indicating that this metal should be classified among the anomalous b.c.c. metals. Keywords
