Abstract
The angular dependence of the scattering of 14-Mev neutrons on protons is calculated with an interaction derived from Schwinger's mixed meson theory. The scattering shows a slight predominance for the backwards direction in the center of mass system. This result is in contradiction with the experimental results. The conclusion is drawn that the charge symmetrical theories cannot give the correct angular dependence of the scattering cross section. Keywords
