Spontaneous Uterine Rupture in Late Pregnancy Caused by Placenta Percreta

Abstract
Placenta percreta is a very uncommon but serious complication of pregnancy. A case of spontaneous rupture of the uterus in the third trimester of pregnancy, due to placenta percreta, is described. The etiology of placenta percreta and therapeutic aspects of this obstetric complication are discussed.
