Abstract
Swarms of Mansonia perturbans (Walker) were witnessed within an oak-maple forest near Madison, Wisconsin, at sunset on two evenings in late June, 1961. Swarming, mating, and feeding occurred simultaneously on both evenings. Mating took place in flight and was not observed outside of swarms. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
