Abstract
A solar thermophotovoltaic converter using PbS photovoltaic cells is proposed. The converter is in the form of a flat plate consisting of a heat mirror, a black absorber, a cell filter and PbS photovoltaic cells. Theoretical analysis shows that, ideally, the efficiency of such a system is about 30%.Keywords
