Abstract
The results obtained from the nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of 141Pr and 51V in the Van Vleck paramagnetic PrVO4 in the temperature range 1.6 to 20K are fitted to a spin Hamiltonian. The parameters for the Pr3+ ion, which are enhanced through the hyperfine interaction, and their interpretation are discussed. The magnitude of the electronic moment induced by an external magnetic field is calculated from the nuclear resonance measurements. Keywords
