Abstract
In the presence of trityl tetrafluoroborate, silyl enol ethers react with thioacetals to give the corresponding γ-ketosulfides in good yields with high stereoselectivity. In a similar manner, γ-ketosulfides are obtained in good yields by the one pot reaction directly from ketones and thioacetals via tin(II) enolates. Keywords
