Antibody-Agarose Immunoadsorbents: Complete Removal of Classes of Immunoglobulins from Serum

Abstract
Summary: Purified antibodies to human γG, γA and γM and to κ and λ chains were prepared with antigen-agarose immunoadsorbents. The purified antibodies were used to prepare antibody-agarose adsorbents. These in turn permitted selective and complete removal of individual classes of immunoglobulins from sera. Sequential use of appropriate immunoadsorbents allowed the complete removal of all immunoglobulins from sera.
