Abstract
The QO2 of rat seminal vesicles and prostates decreased early following castration, while weights of the glands decreased over a 28 day period. Testosterone propionate in castrated rats caused an increase in the QO2 of these tissues while their weights increased over the 20-day period of injections. Hydrocortisone did not inhibit the action of testosterone on the seminal vesicles and prostates. Keywords
