Abstract
Learning games encourage interaction among learners, stimulate their interest in a topic, increase their motivation, and emphasize a topic's relevance to real-life situations. In addition, participants are able to readily apply learning achieved through gaming experiences to their work situations. This article discusses theoretical and practical aspects of gaming, tells how to develop a game, and describes a game created by the author to motivate staff nurses to consistently write patient care plans. Keywords
