Abstract
1. One pelvic film taken after the injection of 30 c.c. of medium into the aorta is necessary. 2. The necessity of visualising both lower limbs from the femoral artery to the ankle simultaneously with one injection is emphasised. 3. The necessity of allowing an overlap of pelvic and limb films to ensure continuity of the arterial tree is mentioned. 4. The apparatus used should provide adequate serial films to cover circulatory variations during the one examination. 5. The incorporation of a timing system registering the time of exposure on each film may be of some value. 6. The apparatus should be as automatic as possible, should require few operators, be readily assembled and provide adequate protection against over-irradiation. 7. An apparatus capable of simultaneous pelvic and bilateral arteriography of the lower extremities is described, and its short-comings with proposed modifications noted. Keywords
