Abstract
Leaf lesions caused by B. sorokiniana on resistant cultivars of wheat (T. aestivum) were fewer and smaller and sporulated less than lesions on susceptible cultivars. In crosses involving 4 resistant and 4 susceptible wheats, resistance was dominant in the F1 progenies. Disease reactions of the F2 indicated that resistance was conditioned by 2 genes in cv. Motia and in lines E 5895 and HD 1927 and by 1 gene in line DT 188.
