The Use of Electromigration Techniques in Washing and Concentrating Cultures of Paramecium aurelia

Abstract
Methods of electromigration which may be used in the concn. and washing of suspensions of P. aurelia for use in biochemical and immunochemical studies are descr. Exptl. conditions affecting the migrations are reported. Within limits, the speed of migration is affected neither by reducing the concn. of salt used in the migration medium nor by varying the current passing through the apparatus.
