Abstract
Methods of measuring bactericidal ultra‐violet intensity are outlined and details are given of a portable measuring instrument. Ultra‐violet irradiation of controlled air supplies is discussed and results are quoted for its effectiveness in the killing of different bacteria in an experimental air duct.Keywords
