Abstract
A simple, elegant process for the conversion of sewage sludge to synthetic oil and coal has recently been developed in Germany. Commercial exploitation of such a process will have profound effects on wastewater treatment plant design philosophy. The ramifications of this technology are explored and the implications discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
