Abstract
Summary Chronic ulceration of the ascending colon in a 57-year-old woman treated with steriods for rheumatoid arthritis is described. Attention is drawn to the frequency of rheumatoid arthritis among previously described cases of steroid-associated ulceration of the large bowel, and it is suggested that it may itself be an etiologic factor. Keywords
