Abstract
The microstructures of YBa2Cu3O7 and related structures have been computer simulated starting from a 'realistic' Hamiltonian. Tweed structures are found in the high symmetry phase and twins in the low symmetry phase. The fine structure of the tweed pattern and the domain walls are discussed within the framework of kinetic processes. Keywords
