Abstract
Many readers in England have asked us to republish A calendar of bee plants compiled twenty years ago by Dorothy Hodges. The 1958 publication included an analysis of the year-to-year variations in first flowering dates of eight key plants, from crocus (February-March) to lime (June-July). What is reproduced here is the calendar itself, together with the explanatory text. The calendar was also published in the Bee Research Association's booklet Flowers for bees, month by month, illustrated by Dorothy Hodges. Keywords
