Abstract
It has been shown that the lactose concentration in separated milk can be determined rapidly with an accuracy of ±1·5% by infra-red absorption methods, using wavelengths in the 10μ region. The method can also be used to determine lactose in condensed whey and should prove applicable to continuous recording techniques. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
