Some Mean Life Measurements in the Na I and Mg I Isoelectronic Sequences

Abstract
The beam-foil technique has been used to observe the spectra of Na, Mg, and Al between 1 000 Å and 6 000 Å. Decay times of transitions in Na I, Mg I, II and Al II, III were measured. They are compared with other measurements and calculations.Keywords
