Abstract
Stapled strictureplasty has been performed on 26 occasions in 22 patients. In contrast with sutured strictureplasty, there were no major postoperative complications. The use of staples provides a method of identifying whether recurrence is at the strictureplasty site. Stapled strictureplasty avoids an enterotomy through recurrent disease and may have advantages over conventional sutured strictureplasty. Keywords
