Abstract
Two new phosphate derivatives of mevalonic acid, both containing 2 phosphate residues per mole, are described. The structures tentatively assigned to these intermediates in squalene synthesis are mevalonic acid-5-pyrophosphate and [DELTA]3-isopentenol pyrophosphate.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
