Abstract
Peltier refrigerators are almost ideal transducers to provide the precise temperature control necessary for investigation of thermal sensitivity. The operation of Peltier refrigerators is briefly described and a circuit is presented which automatically controls the temperature of the refrigerator to within ±0.025°C of a predetermined value. Changes in the temperature of the refrigerator from 0.05 to 10°C can be obtained with less than a 2% error. Keywords
