Abstract
A marked variation exists in the physiological response of the ovary after irradiation at different ages during infancy. The greatest sensitivity was found at the end of the 3rd week, when 20 r of X-rays impaired all reproductive functions markedly and reduced the total reproductive capacity to 1.4% of normal. Keywords
