Abstract
Midline abdominal wound closure with the Smead-Jones technique was reviewed on an oncology service. No dehiscences were recorded for 747 patients. This result was compared with a lower-risk gynecologic service that used layered wound closures. The mass closure was superior in prevention of wound disruption. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
