Abstract
A meta‐analysis of 183 experiments comparing the effect sizes of measurement techniques for assessing the effectiveness of public speaking anxiety treatments was conducted. The comparison showed differences between self report, observer, and physiological measurement techniques. However, no interaction was observed between the type of therapy and the type of measurement technique. The implications for measuring public speaking anxiety and the classroom application of the results are considered. Keywords
