Abstract
The symptoms of certain serious cases of alimentary intoxication in infants resemble those in guanidine poisoning in animals. In 5 cases studied low blood sugar and high blood guanidine were found. Improvement followed Ca therapy in these infants just as it had been observed to follow the same treatment in animals with high guanidine levels in the blood. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
