Abstract
We derive quantitative predictions for velocity correlations in weakly turbulent surface waves. For capillary surface waves, our theoretical results are shown to be in extremely good agreement with experiment. This provides the strongest evidence so far for the applicability of weak-turbulence theory to capillary waves. For gravity waves the predicted velocity correlations remain to be tested experimentally. Keywords
