Abstract
By means of agglutination and agglutinin adsorption tests partial antigenic formulae of S. dispar, Types I and II, and S. paradysenteriae, Boyd P143, have been derived. These indicate the existence of common antigens which account for cross-reactions of certain S. dispar strains in antiserum P143. By appropriate adsorption with S. dispar, antiserum P143 may perhaps be made more nearly monovalent. Keywords
