Abstract
Hydropneumopericardium is a very rare and usually fatal complication of peptic esophageal ulceration. This patient survived and the case resembles the previously reported case of a child. In both patients failure of the fistula to show radiologically or on endoscopy suggests that rapid spontaneous healing had occurred which accounted for survival. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
