Abstract
The purpose of this article was to discuss the availability of a computer program which was designed to calculate coefficients of correlation when one of the variables in a pair is rank-ordered and the other is measured on a continuous or dimensional scale. Arguments are presented in favor of Jaspen's coefficient of multiserial correlation over other available statistical approaches. Keywords
