Abstract
The comparative actions of inhaled leukotriene C4 (LTC4), leukotriene D4 (LTD4), and histamine were studied in 6 normal subjects. LTC4 and LTO4 were more potent bronchoconstrictors than histamine, with a more sustained action. LTC4 and LTD4 caused wheezing without cough or throat irritation and were shown to act on large and small airways. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
