Abstract
The dielectric behavior of different kaolinites has been examined at frequencies ranging from 100 cps to 20 Mcps and in function of the temperature (20°C—300°C). In the tanδ versus frequency curves from all the studied samples, maxima were observed. These maxima are due to a relaxation phenomenon which take place in the kaolinite lattice. An interpretation of the results is given. Keywords
