Abstract
The determination of whether or not married women participate in volunteer work, and the degree to which they participate, was investigated. The homemaker's education and the husband's attitude about wives working outside the home were determinants of participation; homemaker's age, marital satisfaction, education, number of years lived in present home, length of residence in community, and amount of time worked since marriage were determinants of amount of participation. Keywords
