Abstract
The graphical determination of half-lives of radioactive isotopes can be made more accurate if the remaining number of counts, instead of the counting rate, is plotted as a function of time. This method has been used to measure the half-life of 27Si, for which the value 4.14±0.03 seconds has been obtained. Keywords
