Abstract
The problem of applying spectroradiometric temperature measurement techniques to hot gases containing scattering particles is considered. A temperature measurement procedure is developed. This procedure is shown to yield a significant advantage over previous techniques while requiring only minimal knowledge of the exact nature of the scattering particles. Keywords
