Abstract
To examine the relationship of the Flowers-Costello Tests of Central Auditory Abilities (TCAA) and the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Abilities (ITPA), 20 ethnic minority children were administered both tests. Correlation data revealed significant relationships between the TCAA and the ITPA auditory subtests. Further, the two subtests of the TCAA indicated different sensitivity to abilities used on the ITPA, suggesting that separate subtest norms in addition to total raw score norms would enhance the future diagnostic utility of the TCAA.Keywords
