Abstract
Two ferrets were fed mice experimentally infected withSarcocystis muris. After 7 days they excreted with their faeces for 9 days sporocysts which were morphologically indistinguishable fromS. muris sporocysts. Five mice which each received 70 of these sporocysts orally developed macroscopically visible cysts ofS. muris in their musculature after 4 months.
