Abstract
A seven-year-old Negro girl was given a 36-day course of intravenous 2-hydroxystilbamidine for a total dose of 7.65 g. She developed evidence of liver failure and died during treatment. Postmortem tissue examination demonstrated a severe degree of fatty infiltration and degeneration of the liver cells and to some extent the tubular cells of the kidney. Keywords
