Abstract
The effect of a bovine a2 glycoprotein fraction on antibody production in rabbits is described. It can produce inhibition of antibody production in a large percentage of animals. It would appear to act in the inductive phase of antibody synthesis. It does not affect an established antibody level and is totally ineffective if given after antibody production has begun. Keywords
