Abstract
Two new compounds, crotmadine (1) and crotmarine (3), a known pyrrolizidine alkaloid, fulvine and 3 other known compounds, trans-3,4,3'',5''-tetra methoxystilbene dihydroalpinumisoflavone and 4''5,7-trihydroxy-3-methoxyflavone were isolated from the leaves and stems of Crotalaria madurensis. Both (1) and (3) exhibit antifungal activity against Trichophyton mentagrophytes. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
