Abstract
The nitrosyl complexes, OsCl(CO)(NO)(PPh3)2, Os(NO)2(PPh3)2, and Ir(NO)(PPh3)3 react reversibly with one, two, and three moles of HCl, respectively, forming OsCl2(CO)(HNO)(PPh3)2, OsCl2(NHOH)(NO)(PPh3)2, and IrCl3(NH2OH)(PPh3)2.Keywords
