Abstract
Crystalline xanthophyll prepared from nettle leaves and fed to 2 rats at a level of 3 mgm. daily was ineffective as a source of vitamin A. The authors conclude that xanthophyll is not identical with vitamin A.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
