Skin Trauma in Patients Receiving Systemic Corticosteroid Therapy

Abstract
Surprisingly extensive skin damage may result from trivial accidents in patients treated with systemic corticosteroids. In one year 21 such patients were admitted to a plastic surgical unit. Skin necrosis and delayed healing are problems in these patients, and skin grafting may be necessary.Keywords
