Abstract
A case of bacteremia with B. licheniformis in a pregnant woman with coagulation disorders (acute fibrinolysis) is reported. Eight blood cultures were positive. Recovery was rapid. The origin of this infection is discussed; a venous mode of entry is possible by the use of contaminated infusion fluid or following several catheterizations.
