Abstract
A 38-year-old woman developed a Fanconi syndrome of the adult type following the ingestion of outdated tetracycline. She recovered completely with no evidence of residual disturbances in renal tubular function. A causal association between the development of the syndrome and ingestion of the drug is suggested. Keywords
