Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss transsexualism and to present our experience in treating an adolescent girl who suffered from this disorder. Our experience over the last few years in treating cases with gender identity problems and our study of the literature has led us to believe that it is important to recognize the symptomatology as early as possible during adolescence in order to increase the chances for successful therapy. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
