Abstract
Calcium phosphate coatings containing carbonate apatite were deposited on pure titanium plate by an electrochemical method in the electrolytes containing different amounts of Ca and P with and without trishydroxyaminomethane, a pH buffer. Results suggest that addition of pH buffer into the electrolyte has a pronounced effect on the amount of products on the titanium electrode, whereas the composition of the products is nearly independent of the Ca/P ratio in the electrolyte. Keywords
