Abstract
Corrugated packing cardboard or burlap bands stapled to the trunks of loblolly pine, Pinus taeda, were used to collect the cocoons of the pine sawfly, Neodiprion excitans, during late December, 1962 and early January, 1963, at the end of an outbreak near Silver Springs, Florida. The banding technique was not effective with endemic populations completing feeding during May, 1963.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
