Abstract
Smoldering acute leukemia is a variant of acute granulocytic leukemia which may have a more benign course than the usual form of acute leukemia. The bone marrow shows increased numbers of blast cells and the blood shows cytopenias without blast cells. Such patients do not have life-threatening acute infection or bleeding seen in patients with acute leukemia. The absence of these findings help to distinguish smoldering acute leukemia from aleukemicThis publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
